Costume pieces

The following are the costumes pieces you need to bring in on Monday:

Owls: white shirt, black leggings, flats

Foxes & Deer: Black or brown pants, boots – brown

Hedgehog: thick tights or black leggins, flats

Nymphs/Fairies: black leggings, white undershirt, flats

Ogres, Minotaurs, Dwarfs, Wolves, Giants: black pants, shoes

Mr. Beaver: white shirt, black pants, shoes

Mrs. Beaver, Professor, Ms. Macready: pantyhose or tights, shoes

White Witch: shoes, white leggings

Lucy & Susan: black leggings and flats

Peter & Edmund: knee socks, shoes

Tumnus: come see me

Ticket Sales before the show:  December 2nd & 3rd 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm

Monday – Wednesday  2:45 – 5:30

Dress Rehearsals – please make sure you have all costumes pieces

Thursday    12:00 release from class, come down to the auditorium and get makeup & costumes ready

1:00 Performance for the school

2:45 – 4:00 Finish & run-through performance again

Friday         No Rehearsal after school

6:00 pm   Call time; 7:00 pm   Performance

Saturday  (*please bring $5 for Monday’s cast party – we will buy how much pizza we can)

1:00 pm Call time; 2:00 pm Performance

6:00 pm Call time; 7:00 pm Performance (after performance students are to strike the set;  they will be excused when all costumes, set pieces, and props are put away and dressing rooms are clean

Thank you to all the parents & students who showed up to our set painting day.  Our second set building day will be Saturday, Nov. 19th @ Chief Jo Auditorium.  We will be painting flats and working on other prop items.

Interested in volunteering and helping out your child behind the scenes?

Parent Volunteer meeting Wednesday, Oct. 26 @ 4:30 in the auditorium (possible alcove by office if auditorium is booked).  If interested, but cannot make it, please contact Mrs. Waters at Janice.Waters@rsd.edu.

We will be going over parent volunteer jobs.

  • Prop building
  • Set painting
  • Aslan – puppet building
  • Photography – during rehearsal, performance
  • Costumes – sewing
  • Makeup – possibly
  • Backstage help – monitoring actors
  • Ticket Sales – prior to performances
  • Lobby Display – if we have enough volunteers

Auditions are October 18-20 from 2:45 -4:00 with cast posting October 21.

Those students auditioning for a speaking role are asked to have a rehearsed monologue (not from the show) and be prepared to move around for improv games

Those students auditioning for the ensemble still need to attend auditions, but will only be asked to be prepared to move around for improv games

Rehearsals will begin Oct 24.  Monday-Thursday 2:45-4:30. No rehearsals Friday.

The week of Nov. 14-17; Nov. 21, 22; Nov 28-Dec 1 rehearsals will be from 2:45-5:30.

Week of November 21 & 22 we will have rehearsal and no rehearsal Nov. 23.

Performances will be Dec 2nd & 3rd 7:00pm (call time 6:00pm); Dec. 3rd matinee at 2:00pm (call time 1:00pm)
